Recipe: Ube-Egg Custard Flan

This recipe is a combination of leche flan and egg pie's custard. It's easy to make by following the instructions below. If you're craving for sweets, this recipe will satisfy your craving 100%. In this recipe we will use purple yum flavored condense milk.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp brown sugar
100ml ube condense milk
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk powder
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 cup all purpose cream
2 drops yellow food color
1 egg plus 1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Procedure:
To prepare the flan, beat an egg untill smooth. Add 100ml of ube condensed milk and mix well. Add 1 tbsp of lemon or kalamansi juice and mix. Use two medium sized aluminum molders. Prepare the molders by adding 2 tbsp of brown sugar. Heat the molders into low flame until all of the sugar caramelized. Set a side and cool the molders. Sift the flan mixture while adding them into the molders. Add it into two equal parts. Preheat the steamer, and bring to steam the flan for 8-10 minutes. While steaming prepare the custard.
Best one egg plus one egg yolk smoothly. And 1/2 cup of all purpose cream, mix. Add the powder ingredients first with 1/2 cup milk powder, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1 tbsp all purpose flour. Mix thoroughly before adding 1 tsp vanilla and 2 drops of yellow food color. After steaming set aside the molders and cool for one minutes. You'll see the flan is hard enough. Add the custard mixture into the flan. Cover with aluminum foil . And steam for 20-30 minutes or until it's hard enough. After steaming cool for few minutes. Remove the flan custard into the molders carefully and serve. Enjoy that sweetness of the flan and the satisfying egg custard.
