For all pasta lovers, here is another no-bake and easy to make pasta recipe. It's not just another pasta recipe, it"s ala baked mac and cheese but without using a conventional oven to bake it. Recipe: No Oven Baked Penne Pasta ala Baked Mac
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 40-45 minutes
Total Servings: 6 servings
Ingredients:
Pasta:
Salt
Oil
200 grams penne pasta(see packaging cooking instructions)
Red sauce:
1 Medium sized onions
3 cloves Garlic
1/8 kilo Grounded beef/pork
4 pieces Hotdogs( cut into cubes)
Mashrooms (optional)
250 grams Spaghetti sauce
200 grams Tomato sauce
1/2 cup Water
Pinch of Salt
1/2 tsp Ground black Pepper
1/8 cup Condensed milk
1/4 cup White sugar
White Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
1/ 4 cup Evaporated milk
1/2 pack All purpose cream
1/2 pack Cheese ( Eden Melted Cheese)
Procedure:
Cook the pasta according to packaging instructions. For the red sauce, saute onions and garlic until golden brown. Add ground beef and hotdogs, cook until golden brown. Add mushrooms( optional ), cook for 2 minutes. Add the sphagetti sauce, tomato sauce and water. Bring to boil then add sugar and condensed milk(optional). Finally, add salt and pepper to taste. Cool the red sauce for few minutes then add and mix the cooked penne pasta. Set aside, and prepare for the white sauce. In a separate pan, heat the butter in a low heat. Add evaporated milk and all purpose cream. Bring to boil before adding the grated cheese. Let it simmer until all of the cheese melted. Assemble the pasta with red sauce in a wide container. Flatten the surface before adding the white sauce on top of the pasta and it's ready to serve.
You can chill it for few minutes if you want it a bit colder.
